New Fact Sheet: Supportive Housing Ending Homelessness for Veterans in CT Print E-mail

January 26, 2010 - Reaching Home has developed a new fact sheet highlighting how supportive housing ends homelessness for veterans in Connecticut. Almost 300 supportive housing units in the state are dedicated to veterans. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that in 2008, 800 veterans experienced homelessness in CT. Reaching Home’s new fact sheet profiles existing and pipeline supportive housing targeted for veterans. Read the fact sheet here.

 

   
 

The Reaching Home Campaign is staffed by the Partnership for Strong Communities and funded by the Melville Charitable Trust. The Campaign is led by a state-wide steering committee of service providers, advocates, nonprofit developers and funders.
