CHFA Announces Next Steps Development Funding Print E-mail

January 5, 2010 - On December 21, 2009, three applicants for the third round of Next Steps development funding were notified by the Interagency Committee for Supportive Housing that they have been invited to proceed with project development.  The three projects that have been invited to proceed are Center Street Apartments, Manchester, CHR, Inc.; Leeway Welton, New Haven, Leeway, Inc.; and My Sisters' Place, Hartford, My Sisters' Place, Inc.

The projects not currently being invited to proceed but who are invited to revise their applications and reapply for the remaining approximate amount of $4 million in capital funding include American Legion Housing, Jewett City, American Legion Veterans Housing, Inc.; Begg Commons, Waterbury, Waterbury NonProfit Housing Corporation, Inc.; Fair Haven North, New Haven, Mutual Housing Association of South Central Connecticut, Inc., NeighborWorks New Horizons and Quinnipiac Apartments, New Haven, Housing Operations Management Enterprises, (HOME) Inc.

 

   
 

The Reaching Home Campaign is staffed by the Partnership for Strong Communities and funded by the Melville Charitable Trust. The Campaign is led by a state-wide steering committee of service providers, advocates, nonprofit developers and funders.
